Product Information

Christmas lights without the ladder, the tangled cords or the hunt for an outlet.

You get 4 snow-dusted trees, each about 3.2 ft (97 cm) tall with its stake, decorated with red bows, red berries, little gold bells and a red star on top, with 20 colorful LED lights in the branches of each tree. The lights have 8 modes to choose from.

One small solar panel powers all four. A long cable links them, so the trees go where you want them and the panel goes where the sun is. It charges in the daylight, and the trees light up by themselves when it gets dark, every night through the holidays. A full charge gives about 8 hours of light.

How It Works

1. Take the trees out of the box and fluff out the branches.

2. Clip the bows, berries, bells and star onto the branches.

3. Push the 4 tree stakes into the ground, along a path or in a garden bed.

4. Push the solar panel's stake in where it gets the most sun, and connect the cable.

5. Turn the switch on.

That's it. The panel charges in the sun all day, and the trees turn on by themselves when it gets dark.

Tip: give it one sunny day to charge before the first night.

Christmas Lights Without the Hassle

75%

Less Energy – LEDs use at least 75% less energy than old incandescent bulbs (U.S. Dept. of Energy). These run on sunlight, so they add nothing to your power bill.

45%

Nothing to Untangle – 45% of people say untangling Christmas lights takes them an hour or more (UNITS survey). These come with the lights already in the branches.

40%

No Ladder – Over 40% of holiday decorating injuries are falls (U.S. CPSC). These trees push into the ground, so nobody has to climb.

Why We Made a Solar Christmas Tree

Christmas lights shouldn't mean a ladder, a knot of cords and an extension cord snaking across the lawn.

We already use the sun to water gardens. So we made little trees that use it to light up Christmas instead.

Push them into the ground, flip the switch, and they glow on their own every night.

Frequently Asked Questions

How tall are they?

About 3.2 ft (97 cm) from the tip of the stake to the star, and about 1.5 ft (46 cm) wide.

Do they come in warm white?

Not in one color. The lights are a mix of warm yellow, red, green and blue, for the classic colorful Christmas look. And there are 8 lighting modes to choose from.

Do I have to turn them on every night?

No. Turn the switch on once and it does the rest. The panel charges in the daylight, and the trees light up by themselves when it gets dark.

How long do they stay lit?

About 8 hours on a full charge. On short, cloudy winter days the panel gets less sun, so they glow for fewer hours.

What if the trees are in the shade?

That's fine. Only the solar panel needs sun. It sits on its own stake, and the long cable lets you put it in the sunniest spot nearby while the trees stay where you want them.

Can they stay outside in rain and snow?

Yes, they're made to stay outside. On short, cloudy winter days the panel gets less sun, so the trees glow for fewer hours. Put the panel where it gets the most light, and brush the snow off it after a snowfall.

Will they blow over in the wind?

Push each stake all the way into firm soil and they'll stay put in normal wind. If your yard gets very strong wind, a spot by a wall, fence or hedge works best.

Can I put them in pots or a flower bed?

Yes. Push the stakes into big planters or a flower bed and they work the same way, as long as the panel gets some sun during the day.

Can I use them on a grave?

Yes. With no outlet or extension cord, they're a lovely way to brighten a loved one's grave at Christmas. The panel charges every day, and the trees light up every night. Check your cemetery's rules on decorations first.

Is it easy to set up?

Yes. Fluff out the branches and clip on the bows, berries, bells and star. Then push the stakes into the ground, connect the cable and turn the switch on. No outlet and no tools.

Can I use them again next year?

Yes. After the holidays, turn the switch off, pull them up and store them somewhere dry. Next year, give the panel a sunny day to charge and they're ready.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Orders ship within 1–3 days, and delivery usually takes 7–15 business days. To be safe, order by the end of November.
